WHY WE LOVE IT

What drew us to Unit Fourteen is its clarity of flavour and the care behind it. Round Hill roast with a light, modern hand, creating a seasonal espresso that shifts with the harvest while staying true to their style — bright, clean and beautifully balanced. It’s crafted to shine both as an espresso and with milk, which makes it a rare blend that suits every kind of morning.

The notes are smooth and familiar — caramel warmth, soft fruit brightness and that quietly polished finish Round Hill is known for. It’s become a staple for us at home too; this is the coffee we drink every single day, and it never misses.

Across our Signature, Classic and Celebration boxes, it brings a comforting, everyday-luxury moment. A thoughtful bag of coffee from a roastery that understands both flavour and provenance

Founded in 2012 by caffeine dreamers in the Somerset hills, Round Hill Coffee have become one of the UK’s most respected independent roasters. From their base in Midsomer Norton, they source world-class coffees through direct relationships with producers who share their obsession with quality, sustainability, and innovation.

Every roast is small-batch and intentional — guided by a belief that great coffee should be transparent, traceable, and truly delicious. Over the years, they’ve built long-term partnerships with farms like La Claudina in Colombia and Nembain Burundi, working closely to help growers experiment, evolve, and thrive.

From their roastery nestled in the Somerset hills, Roundhill Coffee have built a cult following for their clean, expressive approach to coffee. Unit Fourteen is their signature house espresso — a rotating single-origin that reflects the harvest seasons around the globe.

This edition comes from Juan Saldarriaga’s farm La Claudina in Antioquia, Colombia — a project built on sustainability, innovation, and care. Juan’s farms sit among lush forest reserves, and his experimental drying methods (using covered raised beds and cold-air technology) give the coffee a clarity and sweetness that stands out in every cup.

Expect a smooth, syrupy espresso with vibrant fruit notes and a lingering caramel finish — a modern British roast that celebrates craftsmanship at every stage, from grower to cup.
