Hebridean Baker – Whisky Shortbread
✔ In stock & ready to ship
Buttery shortbread with a splash of Scotch and a whisper of island air.
Inspired by the Hebridean Baker and lovingly baked by Stag Bakeries on the Isle of Lewis, this is traditional shortbread with a Hebridean soul.
What makes this shortbread stand out is its balance of tradition and quiet indulgence. It has that classic, buttery crumble you expect from proper Scottish shortbread, but the gentle whisky infusion gives it a warmth and depth that feels genuinely special — never overpowering, just enough to add character.
The Hebridean Baker team bake in small batches using time-honoured methods, and you can taste that care in the texture: crisp at first bite, soft and rich as it melts. The whisky notes are subtle — a hint of oak, a whisper of caramel — the kind of details that reward anyone who loves thoughtful, well-made food.
Across our Signature, Classic, and Celebration boxes, this shortbread brings a quietly luxurious moment. It’s the biscuit you reach for with a morning coffee or an evening dram — comforting, beautifully made, and just a little bit indulgent.
When a heritage bakery meets a modern island icon, you get something truly special.
Hebridean Baker Whisky Shortbread brings together Stag Bakeries — family bakers since 1885 — and The Hebridean Baker, Coinneach MacLeod, whose love of Scottish food, folklore, and island life has inspired millions around the world.
Baked in the Outer Hebrides using carefully crafted recipes and a touch of fine Scotch whisky, these biscuits capture the essence of Hebridean living: simple, comforting, and deeply rooted in place.
Rich, buttery, and beautifully balanced, they’re the perfect treat for slow moments — whether enjoyed with tea, coffee, or a dram by the fire.
Bringing together a shared passion for all things Hebridean — and a baking heritage dating back to 1885 — The Hebridean Baker is the newest addition to the Stag Bakeries family. Together, they’ve created a special range of biscuits inspired by the warmth, tradition, and simplicity of island life.
The Hebridean Baker — Coinneach MacLeod — is an international best-selling author and TikTok star born and raised on the Isle of Lewis. His joyful celebration of Gaelic culture, rustic home baking, and the Hebridean Hygge lifestyle has inspired followers across the world to bake, forage, learn Gaelic, pour a dram, and dream of Scotland’s wild coastlines.
This partnership unites old and new — timeless craftsmanship with a modern voice sharing Hebridean heritage on a global stage.

Great items and wonderful presentation. Sent early to avoid disappointment. The team were super accommodating when an extra order of hot sauce was added to avoid a delay. We loved all the products.

These biscuits were delicious and packaged beautifully. Customer service was also excellent, I had a slight problem with delivery dates but Brittany sorted it immediately and made sure we had our biscuits on time for Burns Night. Would definitely recommend, thank again!

Excellent gifting service - highly recommend. For people who are looking for a high quality, curated hamper rather than something full of mass-produced chutneys that will gather dust at the back of your cupboard. The handwritten note adds to the personal touch, and the free delivery was very efficient. Don't give your money to The Man, support The Local!

We were given a hamper from The Local as a present after having a baby and I can honestly tell you it was the best thing.
Incredibly luxurious and full of things that you won't find anywhere else, plus it was delivered in less than 24 hours.
I never normally write reviews, but I love this business and I love this concept and will be a long time customer so thought I would make an exception and show my support.

Best. Hampers. Ever! Seriously, I couldn't recommend these more. I bought two beautiful Christmas hampers for family and they absolutely loved them. All the produce is top quality and I've gone on to buy the coffee and wine for myself. So nice to support a growing local business too 🙏 Thanks for a great service.

The produce from their hamper was incredible. Very high quality produce, delivered on time and packaged beautifully. This was a perfect gift from one of our business partners. We especially enjoyed the local sparkling wine and my wife is in love with the quality of the coffee. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Will be contacting The Local in the new year for some gift ideas for our suppliers.
