This tea feels like a small, daily luxury — familiar and comforting, but made with more care than most everyday blends. Spill sources its leaves from smallholder farmers in Rwanda and has published farmer-payment figures for 2024/25. We treat those figures as dated, maker-reported evidence rather than a guarantee of current payments.

The result is a cup with real character: rounded, smooth and quietly robust. It brews beautifully whether you take it black or with milk, and has become a constant in our own kitchen.

Across our Signature, Classic and Celebration boxes, it adds a gentle, grounding moment — a simple pleasure made with intention.

Spill Tea is on a mission to make your daily cuppa genuinely great — full-flavoured tea with more transparent sourcing. These teabags use high-quality, loose-leaf grade tea sourced from smallholder farmers in Rwanda.

Spill published farmer-payment figures for 2024/25 that report payments above the Fairtrade minimum. The Local treats those figures as dated, maker-reported evidence rather than a guarantee of current payments.

The result is a bold, bright, naturally rich tea with real depth. Each bag brews a clean, balanced cup that is strong enough for milk and smooth enough to drink black.

Created by tea-industry experts Lou & Sofia, Spill Everyday Tea is sourced and processed in Rwanda and currently packed in Norfolk.

Biscuits & Customer service excellent

These biscuits were delicious and packaged beautifully. Customer service was also excellent, I had a slight problem with delivery dates but Brittany sorted it immediately and made sure we had our biscuits on time for Burns Night. Would definitely recommend, thank again!

Give a gift they'll actually want

Excellent gifting service - highly recommend. For people who are looking for a high quality, curated hamper rather than something full of mass-produced chutneys that will gather dust at the back of your cupboard. The handwritten note adds to the personal touch, and the free delivery was very efficient. Don't give your money to The Man, support The Local!

An Amazing Gift

We were given a hamper from The Local as a present after having a baby and I can honestly tell you it was the best thing.

Incredibly luxurious and full of things that you won't find anywhere else, plus it was delivered in less than 24 hours.

Best Hampers

Best. Hampers. Ever! Seriously, I couldn't recommend these more. I bought two beautiful Christmas hampers for family and they absolutely loved them. The produce from their hamper was incredible. Very high quality produce, delivered on time and packaged beautifully. This was a perfect gift from one of our business partners. We especially enjoyed the local sparkling wine and my wife is in love with the quality of the coffee. If I could give 6 stars, I would! Will be contacting The Local in the new year for some gift ideas for our suppliers.
