Into The Green creates beautifully natural candles and home fragrance from a floating workshop on the Kennet & Avon Canal. Every product is handmade by founder Abigail Johnson using pure essential oils, natural waxes and a slower, more thoughtful approach to craft.

 

The story of Into The Green

Into The Green is the creation of Abigail Johnson, who has lived and worked aboard her canal boat for more than fourteen years. Travelling the Kennet & Avon Canal through Wiltshire and Somerset, she handcrafts every candle and soap in small batches, inspired by the changing seasons and the landscapes surrounding Britain's waterways.

Every product is made using 100% natural waxes, aromatherapy-grade essential oils and carefully selected botanical ingredients. Free from synthetic fragrances and unnecessary additives, the collection reflects Abigail's belief that home fragrance should nurture wellbeing while celebrating the beauty of nature.

Her distinctive bee emblem symbolises both the enduring importance of pollinators and the transformative power of scent — a reminder to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the journey.

Inspired by life on Britain's waterways, she handcrafts every candle herself using natural waxes and pure essential oils, creating products that celebrate slower living, wellbeing and a closer connection with nature.
